I am a young professional footballer at Mansfield Town, having come through the youth team I made my debut a couple of years ago. I have been at Mansfield for 5 years joining from Derby County at 16. My journey to date is pretty unique, plenty of challenges along the way, but overwhelmingly a fantastic ride! Born in Nottingham, I grew up in Derbyshire and am proud to be an Old Reptonian. I have my UEFA B License and currently also coach in the academy at Mansfield Town, I have 4 years experience of coaching academy football. I have interests in business ( I am one of the founders of Sportabal), brands and have a particular interest in wellbeing and supporting Epilepsy organisations. I am a young footballer, with have a unique journey. Gaining a place in a category 1 academy at the age of 11, being the smallest, slowest and weakest wasn't ideal! At 15 I was diagnosed with Epilepsy, banned from a tournament and at 16 released from the academy. Secured a scholarship at 16, made my first team debut at 18. As a coach I now see the next generation and their journey, entertaining parents, party to the decisions taken about their futures. Finally, I have co-founded this platform, I had an idea...fortunately others worked out how to make it happen. Oh and I have a few good changing room stories
